Bring your bicycle and pedal through the newest sections of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail with Bill Causey, retired Macon-Bibb County Engineer, NewTown Macon Consultant, and trail expert. Bill will share insights into building the trail, discussing its challenges, and successes.

Join Vineville Neighborhood Association for a DOG-gone good time as we revel in the streets of Historic Vineville at the Mardi PAWs Pet PAWrade! People and pets of all ages and from all parts of Macon are invited to show off their creativity and your pet's PAWsonality by donning beads, masks, and the bright yellow, purple, and green colors of Mardi Gras!

Join Weston Stroud, Macon-Bibb County Traffic Safety Manager for an informative and engaging walking tour that dives into the transformative scope of the newly awarded Safe Streets and Roads for All federal grant. This exciting project will bring approximately one mile of new sidewalks along Gray Highway and over three miles of multi-use trails along Clinton Road connecting to the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail, creating safer, more connected pathways for pedestrians and cyclists alike.

This casual bike ride will visit local coffee spots, including Sweet Elenor’s, Village Coffee, and ZBeans on Cotton Ave. Along the way, you’ll enjoy coffee, sample tasty offerings, meet local business owners, learn about their stories, and engage in conversations about biking and transportation in Macon.

Led by Jave Bjorkman of And So We Go Productions and Randy Heart, artist, teacher, and muralist - this engaging walk invites participants to explore the city’s creative side while learning tips for capturing stunning photos of murals, graffiti, and urban landscapes. Come learn from the experts!

This ride will showcase the incredible pedestrian and bike improvements shaping Macon’s public spaces. We’ll highlight projects like Cotton Avenue Plaza, Rosa Parks Square, Linear Park, and Walnut Street (focusing on the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail), celebrating how these spaces have been transformed to connect and inspire our community.
