Join Bike Walk Macon for a Walk ‘n’ Talk! This monthly walking series is an opportunity to connect and chat while getting some fresh air and gentle exercise.

ABOUT: Hear from Macon Mental Health Matters about available mental health resources and updates coming to Rosa Parks Square. Then join as Pam Pinkston of Southern Queer Folk Hikes takes us on an urban hike around Downtown Macon highlighting safe spaces for our LGTBQ+ community. The walk will conclude at Sweet Eleanor's, a business owned by Scott Mitchell, where he will speak a bit about Macon Pride.

Details
This one-hour, easy-pace group walk meets on the third Tuesday of each month (March to June and September to December) at 6:00 PM. Each month we’ll feature a guest guide and a special topic to discuss as we explore the streets of Macon.

Participants should be able to walk 3 miles non-stop. Wear appropriate fitness gear and bring water. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.

Before each walk, we’ll do some light stretching as Bike Walk Macon’s Education Instructor shares pedestrian safety information and smart walking tips
