All we want for Christmas is...for you to come to Macon Bike Party on December 5th! It's time for the jolliest ride of the year -- the Santa Cycle.

Break out your festive lights and funky Santa costumes, and join us as we explore some of Downtown Macon's most spectacular Christmas lights by bike! We will make a few stops along the way to enjoy the holiday cheer and sweet treats so be sure to bring your wallet!

We're also excited to welcome back Erin Keller as our official December Party Marshal for the last Bike Party of 2024!

Ride Details
Macon Bike Party is a FREE, slow-paced community bicycle ride for people of all ages and skill levels. Enjoy our great city and its neighborhoods from a unique perspective.

Registration begins at Bike Walk Macon (830 High St.) at 6:00 pm. Before the ride, we’ll share city-cycling safety tips. Wheels are down at 6:15 pm and ends at The Rose Room (378 2nd Street) by 8:00 pm.

Riders are welcome to join or depart the group at any point. All ages are welcome. A complete route map will be available on the Facebook event page 24 hours before the ride. Remember to bring a helmet. We'll have FREE Bike Walk Macon lights and water.

Updated Bike Party Details!

  • Registration starts at 6:00 PM and all rides will now take off at 6:15 PM.

  • The Rose Room (378 2nd Street) is our new official after-party spot, where riders can gather and socialize after the ride. We'll finish our fall season rides at the Rose Room, so stay a while and make new friends! Plus, Bike Party attendees get a 10% discount on their tabs!

 HOW WE RIDE

Here’s how we make Macon Bike Party a safe and positive place for riders, drivers, pedestrians, and the community.

  1. Stay in the right lane. NEVER ride on the sidewalk. NEVER ride against oncoming traffic.

  2. Ride straight, ride predictably.

  3. Stop at red lights and crosswalks.

  4. Leave nothing and no one behind.

  5. Ride SMART! It’s illegal and dangerous to ride a bicycle inebriated.

  6. Make friends and have fun.

Remember, you are responsible for your own behavior. All participants ride at their own risk.
